The Nigerian government has started recruiting airmen and airwomen for the 2024 airlift. The official portal now has the Nigerian Air Force recruiting form for airmen and airwomen as well as the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) application form for applicants.
Requirements for Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Portal 2024
Interested candidates must be in good physical and medical health. Candidates have to be citizens of Nigeria.
With the exception of individuals applying to be assistant drivers and chaplains/assistant imams, who must be between the ages of 18 and 28, all applicants, whether male or female, must be between the ages of 18 and 25.
Hold a current state of origin certificate that has been properly signed by local government representatives.
Candidates must not be shorter than 1.63 meters, or 5.3 feet, for female candidates and 1.66 meters, or 5.4 feet, for male applicants.
Must not be involved in any disciplinary proceedings and cannot have been found guilty in any legal proceeding.
Show off a legitimate birth certificate or proof of age.
Applicants must have a minimum of two passes and a credit in English in no more than two sittings in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB (For tradesmen and tradeswomen), or a lesser credit in ND/NCE or any related trade certificate from respectable and accredited Government Institutions/Organizations.
Candidates who want to apply to be athletes must provide documentation of their background, such as diplomas and awards.
Have earned at least 5 credits—including English and Math—in WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings.
Candidates seeking to be drivers must have completed the Trade Test Certificate and have at least two passes in the SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB in addition to having a credit in English.
By February 28, 2024, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 22. Candidates must all be unmarried. A candidate cannot be a member of a fraternity, cult, or secret organization.

Select the Airmen and Airwomen.
Press the “Start Application” button.
Carefully read and adhere to the directions.

By checking the box, you agree to the terms and conditions.
Make an account by entering your phone number and current email address.
Put in the required data. Send in your application.
After registering, make a note of your application number.
After submitting your application, print out the under-listed documents:
Recognition Form.
A Military Officer or the Chairman of the Local Government must sign the Attestation Form.
Indigenous Peoples’ Local Government Application. Consent Form for Parent/Guardian.
Take note:
A single application may be submitted by each interested party.
An applicant will be instantly disqualified if they submit more than one application.
The photo from the signee’s passport and a copy of their driver’s license, international passport, or national identity card must be sent with the attestation form.
The signee is also responsible for verifying the applicant’s passport photo.
