Golf legend Tiger Woods is returning to Texas as lead architect of the golf course that will be the anchor of the 914-acre Bluejack Ranch community in Aledo, near Fort Worth.

The 82-time PGA Tour winner revealed his plans in a letter posted on the community website Thursday. “The opportunity to contribute to Fort Worth’s golf heritage is very exciting to me and I can’t wait to see what we’ll build together,” Woods said.
Plans for Bluejack Ranch include an 18-hole golf course and a lighted 10-hole par-3 course. Bluejack National’s developers, Andy Mitchell and Kristin Mitchell, are partnering with Woods on the project, which is scheduled to open in 2026.
Bluejack National, Woods’ first American golf course, is located in Montgomery County near Houston. Woods said that the success of Blue Jack National \ has opened the next chapter of Blue Jack Lunch Daledo.
Woods said in a letter, “Our general vision is that family can enjoy games and joy will create a place where we will stimulate us on a ranch.” “We’re now bringing that same Bluejack spirit and passion to Fort Worth, a city celebrated not only as a Cowtown but also as a golf town,” Woods said. “With legends like Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson, the love of the game here is genuine.”
