Job Description
As a dispatch rider, it will be your responsibility to efficiently and on time deliver items, documents, and other materials to various places. You must follow the dispatcher’s recommended routes and delivery schedules in order to ensure that every delivery is made safely and on schedule. In addition to maintaining accurate delivery records and obtaining signatures when required, you will also be expected to interact politely and professionally with clients.
Responsibilities As A Dispatch Rider
Deliver goods, paperwork, and other things to the correct places
Observe the dispatcher’s suggested routes and delivery schedules
Make certain that every delivery is done safely and on schedule
When addressing consumers, always act with professionalism and courtesy
Make sure you have precise delivery records and get signatures when needed
Maintain the delivery truck as needed, and notify the dispatcher of any problems
Observe all traffic laws and guidelines when driving the delivery car. When necessary, lend a hand loading and unloading shipments.
Requirements Needed
A high school diploma or its equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
at least a year’s worth of dispatch riding experience
familiarity with city traffic patterns and streets. excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
the capacity to hoist and transport large goods
punctual, dependable, and has a strong work attitude
Ability to operate autonomously and adhere to instructions precisely
